Real Estate Tree Assessments
Pre-sale and buyer due-diligence tree assessments that put protected-tree obligations and hazard costs on the table before closing.
Who this is for
- Sellers preparing disclosures
- Buyers of properties with mature or protected trees
- Agents and brokers
- Property managers and HOAs
What you get
Tree inventory with condition and risk rating, protected status under the city's ordinance, estimated cost of needed work, and a report suitable for disclosure or negotiation.
Turnaround and price
7 to 10 business days after the site visit.
$850 for an inspection with tree documentation and permit mapping on a typical lot; $1,650 for multi-parcel inventories of 10 to 20 trees; single hazard tree $650 to $850. The price is confirmed before the visit; there is no charge for a phone call to decide whether you need this at all.
How this fits the city's rules
A protected tree can carry a permit fee, a replacement obligation and, if it was removed without a permit, a penalty that transfers with the property. The assessment names them before they become a negotiation.

Questions
Is a tree inspection part of a standard home inspection?
No. Home inspectors do not assess trees. This is the missing piece for properties with mature trees.
Can the report be shared with the other side?
Yes. It is written as a neutral condition report.
