Annual Inspection Program
A scheduled yearly inspection of the trees you are responsible for, with an updated risk list and a letter you can show an insurer or a board.
Who this is for
- HOAs and property managers
- Landlords with mature trees over tenants, parking or sidewalks
- Owners with an insurer asking for documentation
- Campuses and congregations
What you get
A yearly site walk of every inventoried tree, updated risk ratings and priorities, a short written report with photographs of any change, and an inspection letter. A storm-season check can be added.
Turnaround and price
Scheduled annually; report within 10 business days of the visit.
From $1,800 per year for communities already inventoried by this practice (up to 60 trees); larger sites quoted per tree. Storm-season check from $650. Fees confirmed in writing (prices as of October 20, 2026). The price is confirmed before the visit; there is no charge for a phone call to decide whether you need this at all.
How this fits the city's rules
Several cities treat a documented inspection program as evidence of reasonable care in a dispute, and insurers increasingly ask for it at renewal.

Questions
Do we need an inventory first?
Yes. The program updates the inventory each year; without one there is nothing to compare against. The first year is inventory plus plan, later years are the program.
Can you present to the board?
Yes, a 20-minute summary of the report at one board meeting is included; additional meetings are $175 per hour.
Does it include tree work?
No. The report tells the board what to bid out and in what order.
