Tree Inventory & Risk Management Plan
Every tree on the property tagged, measured, rated and mapped, with a prioritized work plan the board or owner can budget against.
Who this is for
- HOAs and condominium associations
- Property managers with multiple sites
- Schools, churches and campuses
- Developers before a site plan
What you get
A numbered inventory (species, DBH measured the way the city's code requires, condition, risk rating, protected status under the local ordinance) on a site map, a written management plan with priorities and a 3-year schedule, and a board-ready summary. Delivered as PDF and a spreadsheet you can keep updating.
Turnaround and price
10 to 15 business days after the site visit; larger sites scheduled in phases.
$1,250 for up to 5 trees, $75 per additional tree, following the risk-assessment schedule; a 60-tree community is about $5,400. Written management plan included; annual re-inspection from $1,800 (see Annual Inspection Program). Fees confirmed in writing before the visit (prices as of October 20, 2026). The price is confirmed before the visit; there is no charge for a phone call to decide whether you need this at all.
How this fits the city's rules
The inventory records which trees are protected under the city's ordinance and at what size, so the board knows before any work is approved which removals need a permit and an arborist report.

Questions
How is this different from a risk assessment?
A risk assessment looks at the trees you point to. An inventory looks at all of them, numbers them, and gives you a plan and a budget. The risk ratings use the same ISA method.
Can our landscape contractor use it?
Yes. The spreadsheet lists each tree by tag number with the recommended work and priority, so bids can be compared tree by tree.
Do you do the tree work?
No. This practice does not sell or refer tree work, which is why the priorities are independent.
